![]() ![]() ANd because of the difficult, one you almost lose a high character and managed to be alive, its also fantastic.A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Which this game is is very rewaring when you succeed. I just finished my stygian run a week ago and now I will try a more difficult mode, the Pitch Black Dungeon, which seems to be only for masochists. If you beat it, well, try stygian or bloddmon (bloodmoon is stygian+dlc), which is hard, and for me its the only fun mode.Īfter that, there are mods. Once you feel confidence (or once you beat it), try the default normal mode, with the DLC. The DLC adds some complexity too, I recommend playing Radiant first to learn the game, you dont even need to complete it, just learn it. ![]() ![]() Normal mode is how the game is supposed to be.Īnd Stygian is hard but doable if you are aware of the hard situations, dont push too hard and learn to retreat and you know what you are doing while selecting trinkets and mixing classes in the different dungeons. You dont have pressure, you can take all your time, while learning the basics. IMHO this is a fantastic game, it has RNG, but it requires a lot of skill and knowledge, and nice basics. But if a guy lose his characters like no tomorrow, he can't blame the RNG, he needs to learn the game. If that situation I explained at the start happens one time, its fine, two ok. RNG happens for all, but you learn from it. What happens is some guys make invisible mistakes (not clear ones) and they are unaware of those mistakes, and they blame the RNG. This game got RNG, and sometimes it will screw you for sure, even if you got a perfect high level max character with correct gear, skills, and quirks, just because you lose hits by RNG and they hit crits in a row and you die.īUT its the nature of RNG. ![]()
